DMCA takedown notices

We are responding to notices of alleged violations under the United States of America's Copyright Act in the Digital Era (DMCA) (published at http://www.copyright.gov) and other applicable intellectual property laws. We can remove the disputed content or close access to it . If, in response to a notice of violation of rights, we considered it necessary to remove content or restrict access to it, then we can contact its owner or administrator so that they can file a counter notification. We register all notices of alleged violations of the rights for which any measures have been taken, including by sending a copy of the notice to third parties or by posting it in the public domain. Submitting DMCA takedown notice

Email on dmca@teletype.in. Your Complaint must:

  1. Provide your contact information. Full name, Email, Telegram or Facebook link
  2. Provide identity of copyrighted work you believe has been infringed. Links and/or deskriptions and proofs of ownerships.
  3. Provide identify the material that you allege is infringing the copyrighted work listed in item #2, above. Links on Teletype articles and/or channels pages.
  4. Include the following statement: "I have a good faith belief that use of the copyrighted materials described above on the infringing web pages is not authorized by the copyright owner, or its agent, or the law. I have taken fair use into consideration."
  5. Also include the following statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner, or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
  6. Include your physical or electronic signature.

Submitting a DMCA Counter Notice

Email on dmca@teletype.in. Your Complaint must:

  1. Provide your contact information. Full name, Email, Telegram or Facebook link
  2. Provide Identy the content that was disabled and the location where it appeared. Link on takedown notice (in @dmca channel) or link on disabled articles and/or channel page.
  3. Include the following statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled."
  4. Include the following statement: "I consent to the jurisdiction of Federal District Court for the judicial district in which my address is located (if in the United States, otherwise the Northern District of California where GitHub is located), and I will accept service of process from the person who provided the DMCA notification or an agent of such person."
  5. Include your physical or electronic signature.
